Mr. Darcy's Diary

I'm just wondering what everyone thought about the book. Personally, I enjoyed it. It was fun to get lost in the thoughts of Mr. Darcy. I am glad that I read it, but thought that she could have stayed truer to Austen's style of writing. I am hoping that more people than just me read this book. And...What are we reading for July? Should we take a break for the Summer? Is there anyone out there?

I really enjoyed this book. I must admit that I was a little bored with it in the beginning because I didn't feel like I was learing anything that I didn't already know. But then it got really good. I loved to read about Darcy and Elizabeth's relationship after they were married. I would love for the story to keep on going. So fun!!

I loved the book, actually ... In my head I kind of removed it from Austen, and it was more interesting to read that way! I know there is an 'after they were married' book .... should we go there? I would love to keep going Austen style for hte summer. Let me know what you think!

There's a bunch of books by Pamela Aidan about Mr. Darcy that are supposed to be good. Also, Amanda Grange does other diary's from other books. I'm up for more Austen!!! What do you guys think? P.S. are we the only three that read it?

No. I know a few others read it. They just haven't participated in the discussion.

I'm always up for more Austen. But I think I would do better reading the entire book, then discussing it instead of reading a certain number of pages (chapters) each week. Once I start reading, I can't stop (if I like it).
